ARVJÉ is a winery from Italy that was founded in 1794. This design concept was to create the perfect wine for any time of the day. We decided that people generally drink wine between eleven in the morning and four in the morning. When creating our series of eighteen unique wines, we split the series itself in half. This was done because people drink white wines earlier in the day and red wines later in the evening. This resulted in nine white wines and nine red wines. Each wine has its own icon to represent how the sun and moon are shaped during a specific time of day. Each bottle has three icons on it: the hour before, the hour during, and the hour after. The center, enlarged and gold icon is the one for that specific time. By starting at eleven in the morning and ending at four in the morning, we noticed the rotation of the clock and it reminded us of the golden ratio. The golden ratio spirals off, just like a person late at night especially when he or she is intoxicated. When designing these bottles, we took in consideration the elegance of wine itself. These simplistic and extremely refined bottles give the consumer a feeling of luxury. The gold gives the bottles a sense of worth. This limited edition series stands out in any aisle. This series has the perfect drink for any occasion.
